Error While Loading Puma Com Server

Dec 15, 2009 at 5:18 PM

Have received this error on Windows 7 and XP 64 bit.  Will try on 32 bit machine, but has anyone run into this and know how to fix it?

This can be caused by the fact COM server was not registered during installation. You may try to do it manually. Go to <Puma install folder>\COM Server\Register and run Register.bat - you should see a message about the result of registration.

I'm having the same problem and I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

I tried to unregister and register APuma.dll manually and registration was successfull, but still getting the same error...

Is there dependencies to other dll's or something?

Sorry for late answer, New Year holidays...

I think that's the problem reported by daliboris (http://pumanet.codeplex.com/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=4726). This means that the project should be built with x86 platform set in configuration manager of VS. I still didn't have any time to check this out. I'll install 64 bit OS, see what's wrong and get back to you with the results a bit latter.

Thanks.

I've checked this out on 64 bit OS and created a new build of the project with x86 bit platform targeted - it worked for me. You may download it from here PumaNET(x86).msi.
